Crystals and Heat

I was recently asked at a fair about some crystals on a candle that had gone clear as the candle had burned down. Crystals are formed under the Earth’s surface under extreme heat and pressure and change during this process.

For the crystals on a candle, it’s rare but they can also change under the extreme heat they experience as the candle burns. If you’re worried about this, I would recommend burning your candle for no more than a couple of hours at a time, or removing the crystals as you burn it. You can wash them and place them next to or around the candle and still receive their healing benefits.
